Katherine Mesner-Hage

Associate

Katherine Mesner-Hage New York Attorney Katherine Mesner-Hage received her J.D. from Yale Law School in 2013. She graduated magna cum laude from Macalester College in 2008 with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies.

Prior to joining KDLM, Katherine worked for a law firm in Connecticut representing clients in complex personal injury cases. She co-tried several medical malpractice cases to verdict, all of which resulted in substantial awards to her clients. Katherine’s notable trials include an award of $25 million to a client who underwent a below-the-knee amputation due to medical negligence, and an award of $12 million to the estate of a man who died by suicide after receiving improper psychiatric care. As a result of these verdicts and others, Katherine was inducted into the Connecticut Personal Injury Hall of Fame in 2015 and named a Distinguished Leader in the Law by the Connecticut Law Tribune in 2017.

In addition to her expertise in medical malpractice, Katherine has experience in firearm litigation—including the groundbreaking lawsuit against Remington Arms on behalf of the Sandy Hook families—and civil cases arising out of sexual assault.

At KDLM, Katherine handles medical malpractice cases at all stages of litigation.
