KDLM partner James Moore is a New York trial and litigation attorney who is driven by the notion that all people injured by others’ negligence deserve to be fought for. As an attorney specializing in medical malpractice and negligence cases, he is often the courtroom advocate for individuals and families facing catastrophic injury and suffering, approaching their situations delicately but with the tenacity to appeal to a jury.

James strives to be the hardest working and best-prepared attorney in the room, which has led him to much success including multiple multi-million-dollar medical malpractice verdicts since joining KDLM in 2017. In addition to his own case-load, James assists senior partner Thomas Moore during trials in an effort to continue to grow professionally and offer a new perspective to cases.

After graduating from Fordham University School of Law in 2015, James served as a prosecutor at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office where he handled felony and general misdemeanor cases including assault, theft, and DWI, maintaining an undefeated hearing and trial record for over a year. He has since returned to his alma mater as an Adjunct Professor teaching trial techniques and coaching Mock Trial while pursuing his professional practice.

James is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in New York State. He has been recognized by many prestigious organizations including the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list, the National Trial Lawyer Association’s Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiffs list, and the National Academy of Personal Injury Attorneys’ Top 10 Personal Injury Attorneys Under 40 in New York City.
